I don’t deserve to say “I’m sorry” to those that I’ve hurt, I know that. But just this once, let me say it. Let me apologize for ruining things with every chance I get. Let me apologize for destroying any of the chances that I so happen to have built in the past. I’m sorry for being clueless. I’m sorry for being dumb. I’m sorry, so sorry, for being the girl I tried so hard not to be.

  1. List down what stresses you
First thing you need to get done because the more we know about what’s causing it the more we could focus on it. At the end of the day list down mentally (or make a real list if you want) what you think brings stress to your life. Try to identify if the stress is “good” (i.e. aiming for high goals, competitiveness, etc) or “bad” (i.e. family/relationships problems, constant deadlines, peer pressure, etc).

  2. Dealing with procrastination
As a student, I am very guilty of this. We think we’re just letting a few things slide for a few days and when the time comes you realized you let so many things pile up. Probable consequences like sleep deprivation, unhappiness, and unsatisfication all lead to major stress.
  3. Get organized and plan ahead.
Simple things like a clear desk and an arranged schedule lessens the frantic and panic-y feeling when you’re dealing with problems. Like big roadtrips and vacations, you prepare things ahead of time. But it doesn’t have to big events like that, it could be really small things like fixing up your lunch the night before or laying out your outfit for the next day. Bottom line this just gives you one less thing to worry about everyday.

  4. Don’t be hard on yourself
There are a lot of perfectionists and people who aim for the best. And that’s good because you do your best and get all these “highs” in life but once you hit you mess up a little bit you feel like you hit your “low”, most of the time you don’t know how to handle it. Learn to forgive yourself if you mess up because sometimes these small mistakes can cause unnecessary anxiety and stress. Mistakes do not define you.
  5. Say your feelings
I know so many people who have a hard time telling what’s wrong even if they’re talking to people they know they could trust. And that’s okay. Communicating feelings is not exactly the easiest thing to do because we have fear that we’re going to be judged or we’re going to hear things we don’t want to hear. So if you’re not comfortable with talking to a close friend, family member, or a counselor, consider having a journal. At the end of the day or week have some “Me” time and just write down anything you are feeling. If you’re not a traditionally writer type of person just open a word document on your laptop or a note on your phone instead. The point is to let anything that’s been bothering you out of your system. It’s very difficult to carry stress and anxiety and just let it sit there. It’s okay to talk about your feelings.

  6. Find something you enjoy
Find something you like to do, to distract you for a little bit from all these deadlines and problems. It could be anything like cooking, drawing, exercising (a common choice), reading, etc. In a way it’s a way to reward yourself too. I personally like to take pictures and blog, and just recently started drawing. I resort to drawing more now just because it’s more convenient. If I’m feeling a little agitated in class all of a sudden, I could just whip out a piece of paper and just start doodling.

It’s a monoprice 10x6 drawing tablet. The tablet and shipping cost a little over $70 but it’s pretty cheap for a 10 inch drawing tablet.

Hi may i know what app did you use in your previous ig icon? The one with fflowers thanks

Filters used were from vsco cam, then I used Exbel for like all the flower-y effects lol, and then used Moldiv to make it “3 parts”.

Found Something New (part 2)

So the reason why I haven’t been posting on here in a while is because like what I mentioned before, this was my way to release stress and anxiety but then I bought my drawing tablet and I enjoyed it a lot and I used that to get rid of stress haha. So for the first time I’m going to share what I’ve been doing for the last few weeks.

Note: Ahaha, I know there’s a lot of people better at art than me here on tumblr. So please acknowledge that this is my first time using a device like this and that I’ve only been using it for a few weeks too. (:

Okay, believe it or not this took me 2 hours to do hahaha. It felt so awkward looking up at the screen but I’m drawing somewhere else. Also my hand was shaking so much for some reason lol but eventually after a few days of practicing I got used to it.

And then I drew this basic anime eye because why not? hahaha. It looks a little awkward haha. This was like a day or two after I got my tablet.

Then this happened hahaha. I read too many books that weekend and I had a major book hangover lol.

Found Something New (part 1)

One of the main reasons I created this blog was to get rid of my stress and anxiety. I loved taking photos, going out, and that itself was already relaxing. I enjoyed the feeling of spending hours on Photoshop and Lightroom editing photos and scrolling down on my favorite blogs reading their new updates. It gives a very satisfying, peaceful feeling.

…but then

I was saving up for it for months. I did numerous amounts of research on it too because I really didn’t want end up regretting buying it after weeks of anticipation. So I bought *drumroll* a drawing tablet!!

It came after a long weekend from school. We went to a skii resort and all I did was constantly track the package during the whole trip there hahaha. And when it sent me the email with a picture attached showing that my package arrived I was literally like 6 hours from home. So I was basically like squealing of excitement the whole way home.

(Cont’d on part 2)

Favorite Strawberry Milkshake

Recently I’ve been having milkshakes for merienda or on the in-the-hurry occasion, for breakfast.

So first you want some frozen strawberries on hand. Around 1 cup. I generally have a bunch of strawberries readily frozen with there tops cut off the night before because I make them so often haha. You also need one banana. You might want to blend them a bit to so the blending process with the other ingredients are a lot smoother and easier.

Before this I made some ice cream from bananas (if you click the link it opens in a new window) or you could just add some regular ice cream. It’s really just to help with the consistency. The amount depends on you how thick you want it.

Then I added a 3/4 cup of milk and you should add your sugar here by now but I usually don’t just to keep it healthy. And start blending. You know it’s almost done blending when it makes a little hole in the middle when blending.

Serve fresh while it’s still cold (:
